Many people do not know Lochavullin prone to floods

Re the flooding in Oban last week, I know a lot of people will say drivers should have known better than to park at Lochavullin car park in this weather, which is possibly true, but what about tourists and others who do not know the town?

Argyll and Bute Council needs to put up warning signs at both entrances that the car park is prone to flooding in heavy rain, especially at this time of the year. Roads are horrendous out of town but surely in this modern era they could be designed to drain of excess water. Drains also need to be checked regularly to prevent blockage.
