Ticket release date set for Oban Live 2019
Tickets for Oban Live 2019, Argyll’s biggest outdoor music concert, are to go on sale early November, the event team has announced. The event takes place on June 7 and 8 next year at Mossfield Stadium in Oban.
The highly anticipated news from the event follows another successful year for Oban Live, celebrating an attendance figure of just more than 8,000 and an economic boost of £1.4 million to the town.
The event welcomes visitors from all over the world who come to see an eclectic allstar line-up of traditional, folk, rock and pop artists in a west coast stadium setting.
Tickets for the 2019 event will be released in three tiers, starting with an exclusive Oban Times offer, followed by an early bird offer. Tickets will go to full price once discounted tickets have sold out.
Readers of The Oban Times can once again get exclusive access to the cheapest tickets around, with a very special local offer going on sale at 11am on Thursday November 8 for 48 hours until 11am Saturday November 10.
The incredible offer gives readers a further 20 per cent off already discounted early bird ticket prices, with a maximum of four tickets per person. The offer excludes VIP tickets.
Readers will be able to redeem the offer online via an exclusive website address or in person at specified times at the BID4Oban office using a special coupon. Both the coupon and exclusive weblink, along with full details, will be printed in The Oban Times on November 8. Readers are advised to get in quickly with only 48 hours to redeem the offer while tickets last.
Discounted early bird tickets will then go on sale via the Oban Live website on Saturday November 10 at noon until tickets last. Fullprice tickets will go on sale thereafter.
Previous stars have included KT Tunstall (2016), Toploader, Hue And Cry (2017), as well as international trad favourites Skerryvore, Skipinnish, Sharon Shannon and We Banjo 3. The Oban Live Fringe extends the party across the whole weekend with live music and special offers across the town’s bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and more.
