At about 12.15am on Tuesday October 23, a man behaved in an abusive manner, assaulted a woman and caused damage in a hotel in Appin. Police attended and arrested the man, who was driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The man was charged with the offences, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.

At about 5.50pm on Friday October 26, in Rhuvaal Road, Oban, a man aged 37 behaved in an abusive manner. He was arrested, charged and issued with a recorded police warning.

At about 9.05pm on Friday October 26, at the Railway Pier, Oban, the car park automatic traffic barrier was pushed over and broken. A member of a group of youths seen in the area is alleged to have caused the damage.

At about 9am on Monday October 29, in Airds Crescent, Oban, a man aged 18 was stopped and searched by police and was found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis. He was issued with a recorded police warning.

At about 1.35am on Sunday October 28 in George Street, Oban, a man aged 23 behaved in an abusive manner. He was arrested, charged and issued with a recorded police warning.
