-

The Craft and Company group of Nether Lochaber Church had an interesting visit on Monday October 29 from Bill Clifford, an ambassador for Mary’s Meals.

Mr Clifford gave an informative and thought-provoking presentation on the global work of this charity which has links to the Highlands as it was founded in Dalmally by Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow.

Anne Thomson and Elsa Rossetter presented 10 backpacks which the craft group had filled over the past few months and the congregational treasurer, David Thomson, handed over a cheque for £190 from the congregation from the Harvest Thanksgiving Service.

Tanya Nicolson, with the help of her son Sam, had filled seven packs and these too were handed over.

The afternoon in the church hall was rounded off with tea and cakes.
