THE ARMISTICE TERMS

Immediate evacuation of Belgium, France, Alsace-Lorraine, and Luxembourg.

Occupation by Allied and US forces of the left bank of the Rhine.

The surrender by the German Government of the following equipment: 5000 guns of which 2500 will be heavy and 2500 field guns; 80,000 machine guns, and a large number of trench mortars.

Immediate repatriati­on of all Allied prisoners of war.

All German troops to be withdrawn from

Russia, Roumania, and Turkey.

Complete abandonmen­t of the Brest-Litovsk and Bucharest Treaties.

German Army to evacuate the left bank of the Rhine, and Allied garrisons to hold Rhine crossings, including Mainz, Coblenz and Cologne.

Immediate restoratio­n of all specie, stocks, shares and all paper money belonging to the invaded countries; immediate restitutio­n of the cash belonging to the National Bank of Belgium, with restitutio­n of Russian and Roumanian gold.

All submarines, including submarine cruisers and minesweepe­rs, to be handed over, and a large part of the Fleet demobilise­d.

Right to occupy Heligoland as an advanced base to enforce the terms of the armistice.

Black Sea ports to he evacuated, and Russian warships handed over.
