PLOCKTON
On Saturday, October 27, a large crowd attended the official opening of the new Plockton playpark at Rhu.
The playpark committee, the community council, Plockton Grazings Committee and the NTS originally met at the site in January 2012.
More than six years later, funding was finally secured and this summer the playpark was in use and children were there to officially open it on Saturday October 27.
Marlene MacRae, chairwoman of the playpark committee, thanked funders and volunteers for all the help to make it possible.
After a short time playing on the equipment, the children attended a Hallowe’en party in the village hall.
