Festive cheer for all ages
Ardnamurchan High School pupils gave two performances of this year’s panto The Little Mermaid to rapturous applause.
From the hilarious interaction between Captain Aargh, played by Alasdair Tait, and Dame Dusty, played by Ben Gregg, to the evil machinations of the undersea with Octavia, played by Niamh MacLellan, and from the soaring and dramatic vocals of Mariel, played by Janie Patterson, to the lovely plaintive solos of Prince Derek, played by Rachel Bolton, the show was held together by Bastian, a crab played by Kay Christian, whose non-stop puns had the audience groaning and laughing in equal measure.
