Festive dance raises community hall funds

-

Live music got Seil up on the dance floor as part of the island’s festive celebrations which raised £1,298 for the community hall development fund.

Oban High School pupils Sam Dods and Aaron Maclarty, both aged 12, opened the event on the pipes and drums, followed by tunes from Balvicar House Practice Sessions before the Hector MacFadyen band kept the party going.

Community hall chairman Seamus Anderson said: ‘Thanks to all the troopers on the committee for organising the night, to all those who gave us music and everyone who turned up to have a great night.’
