Tarbert Gun Club’s annual turkey match
The last competition of the year on Sunday December 16 was the annual article and turkey match with 36 shooters.
As in previous years, all names were put in a hat and shooters were paired up, so shooters could only rely on luck since any points would average out.
One target
Like previous competitions, there were no runaway winners with five pairs of shooters separated by one target only.
Kilmichael’s Shaun Doy is shooting well these days and Malcolm MacDonald of Minard tied with Andrew MacDonald and Archie MacGilp junior for top spot.
Only one target behind were Bob McColl and Donald Nicholson of Bellochantuy, John Weir partnered with Billy Bergant and Ian Winnard and John Winnard. Tarbert Gun Club thanks everyone involved for their support and wishes everyone season’s greetings.
