Oban Rotary Club’s AM AM taking shape

Preparatio­ns are well ahead for this year’s charity golf event on Sunday run by the Rotary Club of Oban.

There are 40 teams entered with some new faces and many old friends. There are teams from far and near including Fort William, Glasgow and Dunblane.

As before, the catering for the event will be provided by Glencruitt­en Golf Club with bacon rolls early on and a two-course meal throughout the day. As usual the green-keeping team is working hard to bring the course to perfect condition.

The Rotary club is looking forward to an excellent day with funds being raised for good causes through the generosity of the players and sponsors who are unstinting in their support.
