Cosy for Christmas

-

Over the years Backwoodsman has been lucky enough to be involved in some amazing projects. We have installed stoves in castles, country estates, converted churches, cafes, cabins and caravans; visitor centres, hotels, youth hostels, bothies, and boats. We have stoves from Campbeltown to Kilchoan and on just about every habitable island in the area!

Each year we cover thousands of miles driving the roads of Argyll and Lochaber to carry out surveys so we can best advise our customers on their heating needs. We work regularly on new build projects with developers, architects and contractors on specifications for both stoves and chimney design and our large stock of chimney components enables us to offer quick, convenient solutions when the need arises. Where difficulties ensue we are often able to design engineered solutions to solve these and, where solutions are not possible we will offer honest advice as to why it is best to go back to the drawing board and look for an alternative. Backwoodsman has been in operation for more than 40 years and we offer the kind of expertise and extensive knowledge that comes from many years of supplying stoves and chimneys to our corner of the world. Visit our website portfolio and testimonials pages to see some of the many installations we have carried out and hear why our customers are so happy with their service. For further information call us on 01631 720539 to discuss ideas on how to make your winter cosier this year.

‘Just a wee update to let you know the stove is now fitted and working away. We are both over the moon and would like to thank you for all your expertise.’

Mrs Neal, South Uist.
