Lodge Locheil No 1200 will hold a centenary celebratio­n in Lochaber High School on Saturday November

People with electric bikes are invited to a group cycle starting at the community toilets in Kinlochlev­en at 10am on Saturday November 9. Robert McClymont has organised the event and hopes to repeat it on the second Saturday of every month. He can be contacted on 07787 811817.

Lochaber Sensory Care will hold an outreach clinic at Morvern Medical Practice, Lochaline, on Monday November 11 from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Lochaber Natural History Society’s next talk is Dragonflie­s in Lochaber by Jon Mercer at the Ben Nevis Hotel on Monday November 11 at 7.30pm. A short annual general meeting will precede the meeting. Non-members £4.

The next Lochaber Music For All concert takes place in Kilmallie Community centre on Saturday November 16 at 7.30pm. The evening will see Scotland’s world class saxophonis­t Tommy Smith and pianist Brian Kellock perform jazz standards.

Lochaber Athletic Club’s annual general meeting will take place on Sunday November 17 at 7.30pm at Lochaber Yacht Club, Fort William. Refreshmen­ts and log fire provided.

Friends of Nevis will hold an autumn Glen Nevis litter pick and Curling Ponds clear-up on Sunday November 17. Meet at 10.30am at Ben Nevis Highland Centre, at entrance to Glen Nevis.

Songs of Praise in Kilmallie Free Church, 7pm, on Friday November 29. A social evening of singing and music. Everyone welcome.
