The first cohort on the innovative new ‘One Lochaber Leadership Programme’ will officially begin their tailor-made year-long programme during Lochaber Ideas Week, with the inaugural training day taking place on Wednesday 20th November. As a special offer to local businesses during Ideas Week, we’re inviting staff from all local businesses to join in the afternoon session of the first day of One Lochaber: Come along to find out how to thrive in an uncertain business world with an interactive ‘VUCA’ workshop. (‘VUCA’ stands for Volatile; Uncertain; Complex and Ambiguous. ) During this workshop we will explore operating in a VUCA world, and look at how we can lead in a way that enables people to deal with work pressures more effectively. More about the One Lochaber Leadership Programme Lochaber Chamber of Commerce created the bespoke training programme to meet the needs of local businesses in developing their workforce to meet the challenges of the future. This exciting new programme, delivered by expert management trainers, Ethos Consulting, will take participants through a specially structured training programme of seminars and one-to-one workshops, leading to an accredited leadership qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management.
