What makes all the difference in business? Building strong business relationships. It’s easy to say, but not always so easy to do, especially in these times of near-constant online ‘contact’ but not much IRL (In real life!) chances to get together.

Lack of time, pressure of deadlines and competing priorities often mean the ‘not-urgent but important’ work of nurturing and building connections gets put on the back-burner.

Why not start 2020 with a commitment to invest a bit more time in making and building your local business connections? Joining your local Chamber of Commerce is a really easy way to do this.

Our regular monthly networking lunches, business visits and training events are a fantastic way to invest in your business and to share your business news and views with the wider business community.

We’ve got an exciting year planned for 2020 – including a fantastic overseas trade mission to Nova Scotia in March!

There’s so much to get involved in – from our innovative new Leadership programme for managers, regular monthly lunches, business forum meetings with ministers, seminars on key topics like employment law, Brexit and the road to net zero for business – we offer lots of ways to keep our member businesses up to date with important business issues and in touch with each other.

We’ll also be running our popular tourism roadshows around Lochaber in February – if you’re in tourism, this is a great chance to come along to ask questions of key organisations like VisitScotland, freetobook and Expedia.
