Popular tourism roadshow returns

The world of tourism may have been transformed by online opportunities, but when it comes to business relationships, nothing beats face-to-face communication.

That’s why we are once again bringing key players from the tourism industry around Lochaber to meet with tourism businesses and answer their queries in person.

This is a great chance for accommodation and activity providers to have informal face-to face chats with staff from VisitScotland, the Scottish Tourism Alliance, TripAdvisor, Freetobook, Expedia and Lamont Design as well as discuss their business needs with Lochaber Chamber staff.

The relaxed drop-in sessions will be held at key points around Lochaber and are free to attend. These sessions are open to everyone – simply choose the roadshow stop that is

most convenient for you. Wednesday, February 5:

 Isles of Glencoe Hotel: 9am to noon

 Strontian Hotel: 2pm to 5pm Thursday, February 6:

 Astley Hall, Arisaig: 9am to noon

 Ben Nevis Hotel, Fort William: 2pm to 5pm

We trialled this approach for the first time last year and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
