About 11.20am on Tuesday February 16, at Lynn Court, Oban, a man aged 23 was stopped and searched by police and allegedly found in possession of cannabis. A house was subsequently searched under warrant where further cannabis was located. The drugs have been sent for analysis and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 1pm on Wednesday February 17, police searched a house in Shore Street, Oban, under warrant. Subsequently, a man, aged 39, was allegedly found in possession of controlled drugs which were sent for analysis.
About 3am on Friday February 19 at Ganavan Sands, Oban, a woman,
34, was stopped by police while driving her car. The woman was subsequently arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
About 10.45pm on Friday February 19, at Gallanach Road, Oban, a car was stopped and searched by police. A man, 20, was allegedly found in possession of cannabis and cocaine.
Another man, aged 21, was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of cocaine. Both men were cautioned and charged and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Between 6pm on February 19 and 7.30am on February 20, the wing mirrors on a white Vauxhall van parked near Ulva Road, Soroba, Oban, were kicked off. Police are appealing for witnesses.
Between July 1 2020, and February 19 2021, at Dalmally, a 33-year-old man allegedly stalked a woman by repeatedly sending messages having been told to desist. The man was arrested and charged and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
