Oban-based Three Square Kitchen design company can make your dream kitchen become a reality

-

Superb local craftsmanship blended with quality materials and a personal touch will make your kitchen the perfect fit for your home - and your life.

Unlike other kitchen suppliers who provide flat-pack units that need to be assembled before fitting, Three Square Kitchen units come ready-built and that means less disruption for you.

Each of their kitchens is designed to be unique to you with all those little details that really count.

Three Square is an expansion of local cabinet-making business Michael Acey Furniture & Bespoke Interiors, best known since 2015 for manufacturing fitted interiors and free-standing designer furniture.

Michael got the idea for the name Three Square from ‘three square meals a day’ - the kitchen is his favourite room of any house.

“I’ve always had a passion for kitchens. I like the connection that people have with them. The kitchen is the hub of the house and I love the idea that the work we produce will be part of people’s daily lives,’ he said.

Your first move is to contact Three Square Kitchens and they will arrange to visit you at home or if you prefer, via video call. The team, with all their skills and experience are on hand to help guide you every step of the way, whether you are looking for some inspiration, or know exactly what you want, they will work with you to make your bespoke dream-kitchen become a reality.

‘We might sound a bit interrogative with our questions, but in order to deliver something that is not just aesthetically pleasing but practical, we need as much insight as possible into how you use your kitchen’.

‘As well as the style of kitchen, we’ll think about what you cook, where you sit and how you want to maximise what’s important to you and your family. Then we’ll talk about layout, design and all the practical considerations,’ said Michael.

Once 3D visuals are finalised and specifications agreed, the Three Square Kitchens team make a start in the workshop where all units are handcrafted using a combination of traditional skills and high tech machinery and equipment.

‘Thanks to our units being assembled in our workshop and transported whole, the fitting process is streamlined which means less disruption to you and your home. Quality is always our priority but production speed is also high up on our list of what we need to do to make sure we deliver your vision’.

The Three Square team are environmentally conscious, and as an alternative to the wasteful plastic, cardboard and polystyrene wrapping you would find in other flat pack kitchens, Three Square

Kitchens will instead wrap the kitchen in thick blankets, returned for reuse after delivery.

They use local, sustainable resources where possible, with Loch Awe Hardwoods a consistent supplier and they encourage you to select finishes that are durable, child and pet proof for longevity.

‘If there is any waste, we dispose of it in the most eco-friendly ways possible whether it is using hardwood offcuts to fuel the stove which heats the warehouse building, disposing of paints and thinners responsibly through Enva, or giving bags of wood shavings away for other uses’.
