MKM sponsor Bullough Cup 2022

MKM Building Supplies Oban has been announced as sponsors of this year's Bullough Cup, the draw for which was made at the company's Oban depot on Monday.

Branch directors Iain Hunter and Sandy Cameron understand the importance of shinty within the communities the Oban branch serves and saw this year's tournament as a perfect opportunity to strengthen and support Scotland's iconic community sport.

Iain Hunter said: ‘By sponsoring the Bullough Cup, we felt it was a great opportunity to help support the growth of shinty. We wish all the teams the very best of luck in this year's competition.'

MKM are proud community-focused of their values and the Oban branch has been committed to being part of the communities they serve since opening in December 2019, whether by sponsoring sports teams, raising funds for charity or supporting places of learning.

Sandy Cameron added: ‘We have pulled together local experts to make the team at MKM Oban the best in the area. With the usual MKM emphasis on building strong relationships with our customers, the experts in branch know practically all there is to know about anything and everything building related, from kitchens to drainage, from bricks to foundations.'

Also present at the draw was the Camanachd Association's marketing and communications (south) director

Second round, Saturday May 21: Lochside Rovers v Glasgow Mid Argyll; Bute v Aberdour; Oban Celtic v Strachur/Dunoon; Kilmory/ ESA v Inveraray/Kyles Athletic

Semi final: Saturday July 9. Final: Saturday August 27.
