Wellies ready for Green Shoots spring clean

Dig out your wellies and go along to Glencruitten this Saturday for a Green Shoots spring clean.

The walled garden project, part of Hope Kitchen in Oban, has just welcomed its new co-ordinator Jo Heritage and she will be there on Saturday March 5 from 10am to 2pm to get it ready for spring.

Willing volunteers are needed on the day to help clear wood, old machinery and clutter.

Anyone who can lend a hand is invited to come for the whole session or just pop in for an hour. No experience or tools needed - just bring yourselves although under 18s must be accompanied by an adults and dogs will need to be kept on a lead.

Vegan soup and other refreshments will be provided to fuel helpers.

Bring wellies or study boots and don’t forget your waterproofs.
