Islay road improvements

Although some improvement work on roads and pavements has been carried out by Argyll and Bute Council, it still needs finishing, says Kintyre and Islands councillor Alastair Redman.

‘While the recent road and pavements works are welcome and a step in the right directions it’s clear that some pavements are still not finished and need more works like at Cnoc-NaFaire and Corrsgeir Place.

‘Also there are many areas that have not yet had any work done and, as time goes on, these areas will only get worse. The areas include Mansefield Road and Lennox Street.’ Councillor Redman has told residents he will keep up contact with the council to see the work completed.

Some road improvement works still need to be carried out on Islay.
