Spring tidy at Oban’s Green Shoots garden

-

Sun shone on 25 volunteers who dug in deep to help give the Green Shoots wall garden a spring tidy.

Thanks to the volunteers, they had a great clearing day.

‘The sun shone on the 25 amazing volunteers who came and helped us weed, prune, clear clutter and uncover all the beautiful spring bulbs ready to burst into life,’ said Catriona Petit, Hope Kitchen’s service manager.

The Green Shoots project is part of the charity and has taken on a new garden co-ordinator, Jo Heritage.

If you would like to get involved, another day is being planned for April.

‘We’ll be doing more planting than clearing in April,’ said Catriona.
