Glengarry 2 Skye Camanachd 0

Raymond Robertson scored twice in the first half to give Glengarry a 2-0 victory over the Skye Camanachd colts at Craigard.

Skye started well, but when the home side settled, they pinned the islanders back for large periods of the first half.

Raymond Robertson gave them the lead on 17 minutes, scoring from outside the ‘D’ after being picked out by Nick Dalgety. Robertson added a second a minute before the interval. A scramble in front of the Skye goal saw the ball pushed out as far as the penalty spot. Robertson ran onto it before finishing well.

Skye came into the game more in the second half and whilst Ally MacLeod, Raghnall Robertson and James Robertson went close, the visitors had to rely on keeper Calum Nicolson to make a couple of good saves near the end.

Kingussie 5 Lovat 5

The Kingussie seconds and the Lovat seconds drew 5-5 in an incredible game at the Dell.

Lovat raced into a 4-0 lead, with Raymond Rennie and Sam Stubbs hitting a quick-fire double on six and seven and minutes. Graeme MacMillan added a third on 15 minutes with Cammy MacMillan scoring on 28 minutes.

But Kingussie’s Dylan Borthwick came off the bench to score on 34 and 42 minutes to half the deficit and when Pete Dickson netted a minute later, Lovat’s lead at the interval was cut to a single goal.

Raymond Rennie got his second on 63 minutes to make it 5-3 but Kingussie again fought back and Dylan Borthwick took his tally to four goals with efforts on 70 and 86 minutes to earn his side a 5-5 draw.
