Join us at our Open Day

Take the first step towards your future career with Argyll College UHI and join us at our Open Day on Thursday 31st March. We’re excited to welcome you back to our centres and have a number of in-person and online events taking place throughout the day, including a range of fun, interactive taster sessions where you’ll get a flavour of what it’s like to study with us.

If you’re looking to express your creative flair come along to our Art workshop in Lochgilphead where you can try out mono-printing and paper marbling. Or if you’ve got an interest in working at sea, perhaps our Maritime session could be for you – you’ll have the chance to try your hand at the helm of our RHIB as you take a spin around

Oban Bay! For those that prefer beauty over boats, our NC Beauty students will be running live demonstrations of an array of treatments at our Oban centre, where you’ll have the chance to get involved. Or you can get a taste of what it’s like to work in a professional kitchen at our Cookery session. Come along to our Oban training kitchen for a practical workshop in chocolate truffle making!

We’ll also be running a number of online events on the day, which can be accessed from home or by visiting your local college centre. Some of the sessions on offer include

Computer Games Design, Working with Children, and a Digital Design Logo workshop. You can also find out what it’s really like to study at Argyll College UHI at our ‘What to Expect’ session, and get help and advice on funding your studies from our Student Support team.
