Junior piping and drumming competition back
Lochaber Piping Society is holding its Junior Piping and Drumming Competition for the first time since 2019 on Saturday (March 26).
After being cancelled due to Covid for the past two years, the popular event will make its return in the Gaelic Primary School, Caol, starting at 9.30am.
On the evening before the competition, a piping recital will take place in the Shinty Club, An Aird, Fort William, with doors open at 7.30pm. The recital will feature three Lochaber Piping Society adjudicators, Connor Sinclair, Craig Muirhead and John Dew, who will be judging at the next day's competition. The guest piping trio will be backed up by Lochaber's Angus Nicolson.
This promises to be an exceptional evening's entertainment of fine music, expertly played.
