Resurfacing work scheduled for parts of B849 road

Highland Council contractors are due to start resurfacing sections of the B849 Lochaline Drimnin Road between Fuinary and Bonavullin on Tuesday April 19.

The work is scheduled to run until Friday

April 29. Monday to Friday, the road will be open from 6.30pm until 11am. It will be closed between 11am and 1pm, between 1.30pm and 3pm, from 3.30pm to 5pm and from 5.30pm until 6.30pm.

No diversion will be in place and the only access will be for emergency services vehicles.

Outwith the above times, operatives will aim to allow traffic to pass as freely as possible. Efforts will be made to maintain access to properties during working hours, but some disruption is to be expected. Highland Council has apologised

in advance for any inconvenience caused and thank the community for its patience.
