Express yourself through painting

-

Ganavan artist Fiona Campbell has taken up residence at St John’s Cathedral this Lent to help people explore their feelings without the need for words.

There are still two more painting sessions to join on Thursday April 7 and Thursday April 14 from noon until 1.30pm. Paper, paint and brushes are provided and no experience is necessary.

‘We’ve been through two difficult years and a dreary winter. Spring is coming and as we move towards Easter, this is an opportunity to take a moment to reflect, prepare and look at where life is going,' said Fiona. She added: ‘I’m hoping to reach people who may not have dabbled with painting before, but in a spirit of mindfulness, hoping to help anyone who has had a rough time over Covid.’

You can create your own paintings at the informal sessions or use Fiona’s sketch outlines to paint and try new things.
