Ball game nuisance continues in Oban

-

Lismore House residents pestered by nuisance ball games in Station Square, Oban, are to meet with police.

People getting fed up with balls being bounced off their walls and veranda spaces have complained to Councillor Roddy McCuish who took up the issue for them.

A security light at the back of the apartments was damaged recently.

‘Despite this matter being raised some time ago in The Oban Times, the problem has not gone away. It’s still going on. People in Lismore House, the majority of whom are older people, should not be terrorised by those playing ball games,’ said Councillor McCuish.

A meeting with police has been arranged for Friday April 8.
