Oban High School eco-pupils plant new trees
Eco-pupils from Oban High School are planting ideas with bees and insects in mind.
Senior and junior pupils have been learning about positioning, planting and protecting trees as part of the school’s eco-group work. A mix of fruit trees came free from the Tree Council’s Orchards for Schools scheme.
Pupils had bees and insects in mind when they chose the trees which will be helpful to beekeeping courses at the school and its hives.
The eco-group has more plans to keep improving the environment around the school.
