With the consultati­on into the proposed introducti­on of executive head teachers in Argyll and Bute, the council has a difficult task ahead to shape the final proposal that will eventually go before members of the community services committee. There continues to be deep concern among parents and a number of teachers to the plans. Let’s hope their feedback does indeed help shape the final report. The editor welcomes letters of approximat­ely 300 words in length for publicatio­n on this page. However we reserve the right to shorten, to amend or to refuse to print them.
