Mull Rally hotline for island residents

A new email address is being set up at resdients@ mullrally.org for people to get in touch with event organisers.

With 2022 rally dates of October 13 to October 16, 19 responses came back from an initial consultati­on across the island – four had no real concerns, three were giving feedback and 12 replies needed more of is keeping its foot on the consultati­on a response, said Richard Crozier giving an update at Mull Community Council last week.

‘We’re moving more from consultati­on on-going residents’ liaison now,’ he said.

The next official stage of planning will be to apply for an event permit.

That will be followed by an applicatio­n to Argyll and Bute Council for road closures.

A rally guide will be out in June or to more

July, then in

August all island residents will get sent a pack containing full details of the rally and useful contacts.

Mull community council convenor Tom Nelson said: ‘Keep up the consultati­on and communicat­ions with everyone.’

The rally’ Gordon Milne said organisers would also be putting more in place this year in terms of a post-event clear up. Litter and behaviour will also be a focus.
