Father and son Gregor and Kenny Cushnie helped Lochcarron to a 3-0 win over Aberdeen University at Battery Park in the first tie of shinty’s new single team club competition.

Veteran Gregor Cushnie broke the deadlock on 61 minutes with Kenny Cushnie making it 2-0 on 76 minutes.

Gregor Cushnie got his second with five minutes remaining to send Lochcarron through to the next round.
