Between 10.30pm on Sunday April 17 and 12.45am on Monday April 18 at Lorn and Islands District Hospital, Oban, a patient allegedly assaulted a nurse while being treated, repeatedly kicking them to the legs. The patient also allegedly became abusive towards staff shouting and swearing at them and threatening one with her life. Police were contacted and the 61-yearold woman was arrested and charged with the offences. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

At 12.20am on Monday April 18 in the Oban area, a woman was allegedly seen driving a vehicle which she was not insured for. The woman, 57, was charged with the offence and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

About 9pm on Monday April 11 at Lochavullin long stay car park, Lochavullin Road, Oban, youths were seen throwing eggs at parked vehicles in the car park. The eggs have caused permanent damage to at least one of the vehicles. Inquiries continue.
