Three out of three for Oban School of Rugby
Oban High School hosted St Thomas Aquinas in the first round of the 2022 Schools Conference.
The High School fielded three teams - S1 Boys, S2 Boys and S1/2 Girls - with the vast majority of the players being part of the School of Rugby programme.
The girls team were convincing winners by a score of 30 tries to 18. Both the boys’ teams were involved in very close games but emerged victorious in the end - the S1 Boys won 51-46 whilst the S2 Boys won 52-51.
All three teams will continue their participation in the Conference with an away game to Dalziel in the next few weeks.
