Mount Alexander clear-up

We were delighted to hear that following our article about the increase in fly-tipping at the Mount Alexander dump site at Camaghael, one of the operators there has taken it upon themselves to start clearing the place up, bringing in a skip.

On top of that, members of the community have said they might be willing to help clear up the area beside the path down to the river.

The changes are positive and we would encourage anyone interested in helping with a litter pick to get in touch with Kilmallie community councillors who are looking to contact SEPA to discuss the next step.
