▎ Police are seeking informatio­n or any dashcam footage after a northbound driver reported they had to brake to avoid a collision when a dark-coloured car overtook on the A85 at Pennyfuir, Oban, into oncoming traffic. The incident happened between 7.05am and 7.15am on A85, Pennyfuir, Oban, on Wednesday April 13.

▎ Officers received reports of a group of youths breaking into and stealing items from a shed at Falls View Apartments, Bonawe Road, North Connel, sometime between 4pm and 4.10pm on Sunday April 17.

▎ The rubber flooring of the children’s playpark at Colonsay Terrace, Oban, was damaged after a mattress was set fire at 3.40pm on Monday April 18.

▎ Checks on a man driving a vehicle at Oban Filling Station, Soroba Road, at 8pm on Monday April 18 revealed he had no insurance. The 25-year-old was also found to be in possession of controlled drugs. He was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

▎ Police are seeking informatio­n after it was alleged a youth punched a man at 9.10pm on Monday April 18 at Longsdale Crescent, Oban.

▎ During the evening of Saturday April 23 at a caravan at Fidden Farm, Tormore View, Fionnphort, Isle of Mull, it is alleged a woman assaulted another woman by pushing her to the ground and scratching her face and body.
