from both sets of supporters. Sharks came back with a great win, then it was the Bulls and Sharks up against each other. There was no love lost between the two teams and the Bulls edged the Sharks in an enthrallin­g game.

As a result of a lack of overall numbers in the competitio­n the games were all replayed and the Oban teams showed great composure and skill and were the epitome of grassroots rugby spirit.

The supporters played their part with plenty encouragem­ent which culminated in another match between the Oban Sharks and Oban Bulls. The Bulls were bolstered by the arrival of a primary three player whose try celebratio­n from the supporters could be heard all the way back in Oban.

It was a great day and credit goes to Campbeltow­n/Kintyre Rugby for hosting a great tournament.

The next Dalriada tournament is on Mull on Saturday May 7.
