Park. There was little sign of the goal feast to come when the first half finished scoreless.

The second half was just three minutes old when Ally Banks gave Ballachull­ish the lead.

Kyle MacFarlane drew Cruachansi­de level on 56 minutes, only for former Scotland internatio­nal John MacDonald to put Ballachull­ish back in front on 77 minutes.

Another from John MacDonald and Cian MacPhee’s own goal both came on 90 minutes so Ballachull­ish led 3-2, only for Ally Cameron to make it 3-3 six minutes into stoppage time.

Referee Alex MacVicar took the tie into extra time and veteran John MacDonald completed his hat-trick to edge Ballachuli­sh into the next round.

The Newtonmore juniors saw off the Fort William juniors 3-0 in their noon throw-up at the Eilan.

Glen MacKintosh returned for Newtonmore to give his side the lead on 14 minutes and Craig MacLeod increased their advantage on 48 minutes.

Xander Ross added a third on 59 minutes. into the second half when Taylor Matheson touched the ball low into the net from inside the ‘D’ when the visitors failed to clear Archie Millar’s corner from the right.

Skye moved Ruairidh MacLeod to the buckshee forward position where he forced a couple of good saves from Kingussie keeper Craig Dawson before making it 2-0 on 85 minutes with a low shot into the net.

Unfortunat­ely for MacLeod and Skye, he was accidently injured when scoring and was later confirmed to have suffered a broken ankle.

Taylor Matheson got his second on 90 minutes with a fine turn and shot following Sam MacPhee’s ball forward, sending his strike high into the net to make it 3-0.

Both keepers – Calum Nicolson for Skye and Kingussie’s Craig Dawson – made great saves in the match.

Strathspey Camanachd defeated the Kilmallie second team 2-1 at Grantown Grammar School.

Calum McIntosh scored for the home side on seven minutes but Duncan MacDougall levelled 60 seconds into the second half.

Euan Dingwall got the winner on 57 minutes. manager Raymond Rennie sent the hosts though to the next round.

The Kinlochshi­el juniors had to work hard to eventually beat Lewis Camanachd 5-0 in their 1.30pm throw-up at Rèaraig.

Lewis Camanachd, who have signed Paddy Wilson from Caberfeidh, held the hosts to a goalless first half but Zander MacRae settled home nerves with a double on 61 and 71 minutes.

Seumas Martin made it 3-0 on 77 minutes, with Zander MacRae completing his hattrick on 80 minutes.

Michael MacLeod’s own goal four minutes from time sealed the 5-0 win.

The Beauly from behind Glenurquha­rt in their noon Blairbeg.

Glenurquha­rt’s James MacPherson was suspended but the hosts still took the lead on three minutes through Daniel MacLean.

Callum Flynn equalised on 20 minutes with Kyle MacDonald getting the winner on the stroke of full-time.

The Caberfeidh colts were 4-2 winners against Boleskine at Castle Leod.

Boleskine took the lead on eight minutes through Neil Hope, but Ruaraidh MacLeman levelled on 14 minutes.

The visitors regained the lead through Liam Girvan on 28 minutes, only for Ruaraidh MacLeman to level for a second time on 40 minutes.

Hamish Alliston put Caberfeidh ahead for the first time on 42 minutes, with Ruaraidh MacLeman completing his hat-trick to make it 4-2 on 77 minutes.
