Glasgow Mid Argyll reached the last four of the Scottish Sea Farms Glasgow Celtic Society Cup with a 10-0 win over Oban Celtic in their 2pm throw-up at Peterson Park.

It was a difficult afternoon for the Oban side but they held their own until 23 minutes when John McNulty scored.

The returning Ewen Fraser made it 2-0 on 40 minutes and he got his second a minute into the second half.

Oban Celtic suffered a collapse in the final half hour. Their former player Ally McKerrache­r made it 4-0 on 62 minutes, with Ewen Fraser completing his hat-trick a minute later.

Hamish Anderson added his name to the scoresheet on 70 minutes whilst Calum McLay grabbed a rapid hat-trick with efforts on 76, 80 and 84 minutes.

Ally McKerrache­r got his second to make it 10-0 on the stroke of full-time.

Oban Celtic host Cruachansi­de in the Ferguson Transport and Shipping Balliemore Cup first round on Saturday.
