Lochside Rovers 3 Cruachanside 1
Lochside Rovers recorded their second league win of the season by beating Cruachanside 3-1 in their 3pm throw-up at Mossfield.
Matthew Sloss, aged 14, gave Lochside the advantage with well-struck goals on 20 and 22 minutes, the second of which was fired into the top of the net from around 20 yards. Innes Jackson added a third on 68 minutes, although Kyle MacFarlane gave Cruachanside some consolation in the final minute. Lochside’s Calum MacMillan suffered a nasty cut to his shin which required the insertion of staples at hospital.
