Arisaig Highland Games return
Arisaig Highland Games will return this summer after missing the previous two years as a result of the Covid pandemic.
Organisers announced this week the popular games will be held on Wednesday July 27 at Traigh Farm, Arisaig, opening at noon, and will feature the 16th annual Clan Ranald Gathering.
Ardnamurchan Distillery is continuing with its sponsorship of the event which will feature a full list of traditional events, including solo piping, throwing the hammer, tossing the caber, highland dancing and track and field events including children’s races.
Around the arena there will be a variety of side shows, exhibition tents, trade stalls and refreshment stands.
To round off the event, there will be a traditional cèilidh dance in the Astley Hall, Arisaig, in the evening.
