Kingussie 5 Fort William 0 Kingussie and Fort William met at the Dell for the second successive Saturday.

Roddy Young set up Savio Genini for the opener on 18 minutes and, thanks to great goalkeeping from Paul MacKay, this was the only goal of the first half.

Dylan Borthwick’s brace on 46 and 72 minutes made it 3-0 before a deflection saw Ruaridh Anderson’s effort loop into the net on 83 minutes.

Savio Genini got his second with a stunning 25-yard strike four minutes from time.

Oban Camanachd 0 Kinlochshiel 3

An understrength Oban Camanachd side eventually went down 3-0 to Kinlochshiel in their 12.30pm throw-up at Mossfield.

The Oban side were missing Daniel Cameron, Malcolm Clark, Daniel Madej, David Cameron and Garry Lord.

Duncan ‘WD’ MacRae was Kinlochshiel’s only absentee so David Falconer started in his place.

In an even first half, Daniel MacVicar had the chance to give the hosts the lead around the half-hour when a re-bound off keeper Josh Grant came to him but he sent the ball agonisingly past the post.

At the other end, Cameron Sutherland saved well with his hand from Keith MacRae’s shot from the right, turning the ball away for a corner.

Jordan Fraser also passed up a couple of first-half chances for the visitors.

Keith MacRae broke the deadlock on 65 minutes, taking the ball by keeper Cameron Sutherland before scoring from a tight angle.

David Falconer added a second on 81 minutes after Scott MacMillan missed a ball in the air and a great finish from substitute Archie MacRae on 87 minutes, sending the ball into the far corner of the goal, put gloss on the win.

Caberfeidh 2 Kyles Athletic 2 Caberfeidh and Kyles Athletic drew 2-2 at Castle Leod.

Caberfeidh were missing Kieran MacPherson whilst Robbie Macleod was back for Kyles.

Craig Morrison put the hosts ahead after six minutes, blasting the ball home from the left.

Scott MacDonald levelled with a low shot on 25 minutes but Craig Morrison got his and Caberfeidh’s second on 31 minutes when Kevin Bartlett allowed the ball to run to his strike partner and Morrison beat the full back before giving his side the interval advantage.

However, with four minutes remaining, referee Deek Cameron awarded Kyles a penalty after a goalmouth scramble and Ross MacRae held his nerve to score from the spot.

Both keepers – Iain McCall for Caberfeidh and John Whyte for Kyles – made a number of excellent saves.
