Scotland Under 17 squad announced

-

After an absence of two years, Scotland’s under 17s will return to Ireland this season.

The annual tour, which has been taking place for more than 20 years, will this year see the country’s elite shinty players play shinty/hurling challenge matches against their Irish counterparts from Kildare and Dublin.

This year’s tour will once again be sponsored by Sitekit, a technology company with its headquarters on the Isle of Skye. Sitekit founder Campbell Grant, a former shinty player with Glasgow University, Aberdeen Camanachd and Skye Camanachd in the 1980s, said: ‘As a business with roots in the Highlands and Islands, Sitekit is proud to support the under-17 national team once again and wish the squad well on its tour.’
