SSDT legend Dougie Lampkin notches up incredible 13th win

-

Fort William welcomed the Scottish Six Days Motorcycle Trials after a two-year break and saw an incredible 13th win by Dougie Lampkin.

The 46-year-old Lampkin stamped his authority on the event to take top honours, while the 2019 winner, James Dabill, had to settle for third position this year, after losing out on the runner-up spot to Michael Brown.

Local rider Duncan Maccoll rode superbly all week, ending up in 16th position and taking the second best newcomer and the best Scottish newcomer awards on top of a special firstclass award.

The event brought a welcome boost to Fort William, kick-starting the tourism season in the area.
