John McPhee back in action
In his first return race after injury, Oban’s John McPhee managed to earn points finishing in 12th place at Le Mans, France, after starting the race 17th on the grid. John crossed the finish line just over three seconds behind the winner. After the race John said: ‘The bike was working really well. The biggest thing that held me back was my physical condition. I felt good for the first nine or 10 laps, but in the last five laps I struggled a lot to have the correct movements on the bike.’
