Fort William Town Team could do with extra pairs of hands

-

Five volunteers from Fort William Town team were out recently gardening and picking up litter but say they could do with more help.

The team posted on its Facebook page: ‘It was a busy day gardening and litter picking for our loyal volunteers today. It’s such a shame we can’t encourage more people to come and help us because we would get so much more done.

‘Today there were five of us trying to cover the whole town! We managed to do a lot though, with Sarah and Alan tidying the sundial, Margaret litter-picking and collecting hundreds of cigarette butts in the High Street, Joy litter picking around the library and underpass, and Karen weeding the planters at the hub and war memorial along with litter-picking on the Parade.

‘Please consider giving up an hour or two next month to lend a hand, we really need to pull together as a community to ensure our group can continue to do the great work we do.’
