The Beauly seconds eventually edged out Strathspey Camanachd 5-3 at Grantown Grammar School.
Jack MacDonald scored on three and nine minutes, either side of Callum MacKintosh’s four-minute goal to give Beauly an early 2-1 lead.
Murdo Ross drew Strathspey level for a second time on 20 minutes before Lee Dunbar restored Beauly’s advantage just 60 seconds later.
The sides continued to exchange goals and Bob Davies made it 3-3 on 24 minutes.
Beauly’s Lee Dunbar was sent off by referee Neil MacDonald but despite the loss, Torrin Cairns scored twice on 61 and 75 minutes to give Beauly victory.
Strathglass 2 Lochaber 3 David Langan’s treble helped the Lochaber seconds beat the Strathglass seconds 3-2 at Cannich.
The Strath led through James Ross on 11 minutes but David Langan scored on 37, 47 and 53 minutes to leave Lochaber 3-1 up.
James Ross got his second nine minutes from time but Lochaber stayed in front to win the match. their 1pm throw up Grantown Grammar School.
The Mowi Challenge Cup quarter-final draw takes place on Sunday 22 May.
The Mowi Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup first round draw took place at the Bught Park, Inverness, on Sunday 15 May.
Glasgow Mid Argyll will host Lochaber whilst Skye Camanachd welcome Ardnamurchan. Badenoch and Aberdour both received byes.
These ties will be played on the weekend of Saturday 18 June and Sunday 19 June 2022.
