Glengarry and Col Glen contest new single team cup

The final of the Camanachd Association’s new cup competition for single team clubs takes place this Saturday when Glengarry play Col Glen at Taynuilt Sports Field.

Burton Morrison, Camanachd Association competitions director, said: ‘We are delighted to deliver a new competition that has been so well received by the 13 clubs involved. I expect a hard-fought and committed final between two of the best single-team clubs in the country.

Col Glen manager Ronnie MacVicar said: ‘Col Glen are thrilled to be in our first cup final for 32 years. It is a great honour to represent our community in a national final.’

Scott Bremner, Glengarry manager added: ‘Glengarry Shinty Club are delighted to reach the final of this new competition and look forward to a competitive game against a formidable Col Glen side.’
