Gaelic pupils are a big draw for shinty cup quarter finals
Pupils from Lochaber Gaelic School made the 2023 cottages.com MacTavish Cup quarter-final draw on Monday.
The draw was conducted by Freya and Fraser from BunSgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar while the whole school were kitted out with t-shirts, bags, caps and water bottles emblazoned with the cottages. com MacTavish Cup logo as a reward for their help.
In an exciting and competitive draw, the first two names out of the hat were Lovat and Kingussie in what is set to be a great match. The drama continued as the second tie will see Skye drawn away to Beauly.
Elsewhere, Glenurquhart will make the trip to Inverness while the final tie out of the hat saw Lochaber paired at home against Newtonmore.
