After week 11 of The Lochaber Building Supplies ten pin bowling leagues at the Nevis Centre in Fort William, the top two teams in the scratch division are unchanged with Alleycats leading with 48 points followed by Peaky Bowlers on 45 points.

Both teams ran out 5-0 victors while Triple B move into third place on 36 points.

In the handicap division Triple B remain the leaders with 38 points. Peaky Bowlers move into second place on 34 points followed by Rotary B who fall to third place with 32 points.

There was a spate of good individual scratch games again this week with three pairs of teammates having good games.

The highest came from Toon Brown (Peaky Bowlers) with an outstandin­g game of 215 which ties for the season high whilst teammate Brian Stewart had a 199.

Next came a pair of bowlers from Triple B as Vince Dean had a 191 and Ton De Rijk a 183. Ron Gretton (Rotary B) came next with a 178 followed by another pair of teammates, this time from Alleycats with Tony Whitelocke getting 176 and John Weller 173.

The best handicap game of 256 and two game scratch series of 349 both came from Toon Brown whilst Ton De Rijk had the best two game handicap series of 436.

Triple B swept the board with the best team games of the week with the top scratch game of 651, the best handicap game of 882 and the top two game handicap series of 1634, all of which were season highs, the scratch game being part of a tie. They also had the top two game scratch series 1172.

The highest scratch averages are owned by Brian Johnstone (Alleycats) with 156 followed by Toon Brown on 150 and Pam Weller (Alleycats) on 149.
