The Skye Camanachd seconds beat the Newtonmore seconds at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree.

Kyle Clark’s swerving shot from the right, into the roof of the net, put the visitors ahead on 28 minutes.

More’s Brodie MacBean had a goal disallowed before the break but a turn and shot from Archie MacDonald on 51 minutes levelled the contest.

Skye’s Taylor Matheson scored the winner following a goalmouth scramble after a corner on 83 minutes.

Before the match the players and supporters joined together in a minute’s applause to commemorate the life of Scott Knox.

This was decided in consultation with Alan and Kris Knox and their family who wished the games to go ahead as they felt this was the right thing to do.

Lewis Morrison hauled Fort William level with goals on 32 and 38 minutes, and Lachie Shaw was on target on 43 minutes to give the hosts an interval lead.

And it remained that way until the final minute when Morrison scored to make it 4-2 and complete his hat-trick.

Ruaridh Hughes fired the hosts ahead on seven minutes and Skye MacKintosh added a second on 18 minutes.

Shiel fielded a strong side including Archie MacRae and Jonnie MacAskill and although they pulled a goal back through Rory Barclay on 38 minutes, there would be no equaliser.
